从句复习

我们在初中学习了很多从句，但状语从句和宾语从句较为重要，所以下面对这两种从句进行一下总结，以便学生参考。
一 状语从句
1 时间状语从句
when（当 的时候）， as（当 ；一边 一边） as soon as （一 就），
before （在 之前）， after（在 之后）， since （自从 ），
while （在 期间） ， till(until) （直到 为止）， not until（直到 才）
When they came yesterday, I was cooking. As the girls walked, they talked loudly.
Mike will tell you as soon as he comes. The train had left before we arrived there.
After the train had left we arrived there. I haven’t heard from her since she left.
He studied very hard while he was young. While I watched TV, she read a book.
I waited till(until) he came back. I didn’t have dinner until he came back.
2 条件状语从句
if (如果) If he comes tomorrow, he will help me.
3 原因状语从句
because(因为)， as(由于，因为)， since(既然)
I was late because I got up late. As the weather was fine, we decided to leave.
Since you’re busy, I won’t stay here long.
4 目的状语从句
so that 或that (以便于) ,in order that (以便于)
She’ll work harder so that she can catch up with her classmates.
We sent the letter by air in order that you might get it in time.
5 结果状语从句
so that (如此 以致于) ，such that (如此 以致于)
They spoke so fast that I couldn’t understand.
This is such a good book that I read it many times.
6 比较或方式状语从句
as (正如)， than (比)， as as (与 一样)，not as (so) as (与 不一样)
I’ll do as you say. He runs much faster than I ( do ).
He runs as fast as I ( do ). He isn’t as tall as(am).
二 宾语从句
1 由that 引导 that 在从句中无意义,口语中可省略
She said (that) she would take care of you.
2 由whether 或if 引导,意思是 “是否”
They asked me if I could speak English.
Would you please tell us whether there is a lot of rain in your home town?
3 由 who, whom 引导, 从句中做主语,口语中也可做宾语 whom只做宾语
I don’t know who can do it. Do you know who(whom) she will go with?
Do you know with who she will go?
I don’t know whom I ’m going to teach next year.
Please tell me aboht whom they are talking?
4 由 whose 引导 做主语,宾语,定语等
We want to know whose is better. Please tell me whose you want to look at.
She asked me whose pen that was.
5 由 which 引导 做主语,宾语等
Do you know which is heavier, a sheep or an eleplant?
She didn’t tell us which she wanted.
6 由 when 引导 做时间状语等
Do you know when the teacher will come?
7 由 where 引导 做地点状语
I want to know where she lives.
8 由 why 引导 做原因状语
He didn’t tell the teacher why he was late.
9 由how 引导 做方式状语
Please tell us how you will do it.
I don’t know how often you go to see your granny.
变宾语从句的方法
1 陈述句 用that 连接主句和从句, 口语中that 可省略
They say. They will help us.
They say (that) they will help us.
2 一般问句 用whether 或if 连接主句和从句,去掉变问句时所加入的助动词do
does did 并恢复谓语动词原来的形式,语序为陈述句形式
She asks me. Is she from Beijing?
She asked me if (whether) she is from Beijing.
She asked me. Does she come from Beijing?
She asked me if ( whether ) she comes from Beijing.
He asked me. Did she study in Beijing?
He asked me if (whether ) she studied in Beijing.
3 特殊问句 用原特殊问句中的疑问词做连词,去掉变问句时加入的助动词
do ,does ,did 并恢复谓语动词原来的形式,语序为陈述句语序
Do you know? Who planted the trees?
Do you know who planted the trees?
Can you tell me? Who(m) are they waiting for?
Can you tell me who(m) they are waiting for?
Don’t tell her. Whose car is it?
Don’t tell her whose car it is.
We don’t know. What does he study?
We don’t know what he studied.
He asked me. Which did I like better.
He asked me which I liked better.
I asked her. When was she born.
I asked her when she was born.
They want to know. Where do we live?
They want to know where we live.

一 状语从句
